Same brick has both Vmin and Vmax, what is wrong?

Thanks Peter, I believe the BMBs went to the same slots, but I will double-check. I unplug and plug the service disconnect between each times I test a new BMB-position, I wish there was a better way. Not sure how many pulls the service disconnect plug can handle. I am still puzzled by the same...

Same brick has both Vmin and Vmax, what is wrong?

I charged a 1.5 roadster via the BMB-boards since it had a "Critical low brick voltage message" and I could not get the pin code alarm to turn off. After charging for some days, I reconnected the correct BMB boards. The car reported that the same brick, brick #93 got both Vmin: 1.19V and Vmax...

    Service Disconnect

The service disconnect plug is getting harder and harder to pull out (I still have thin arms so I don't have to remove the wheel and don't use plier, but have to pull with my hand several times with full power to get it out). Is there a way to make it slide more easy?

Bricked Roadster - How to manually charge it to try to preserve cells?

Very helpful. What is the purpose of the 8-pin and 12-pin connectors on the BMB boards? Could any of you that has made a BMB-card please post a picture and/or provide some description? "Every one of the three bricked packs I have seen had bad cells that got hot when charged." I wonder why the...

Bricked Roadster - How to manually charge it to try to preserve cells?

Thanks, yes overcharge is dangerous. I posted some pictures in this post. I hope someone on the forum can explain if there is a way to monitor the voltage of each brick using the connectors that are available (see picture)?

Bricked Roadster - How to manually charge it to try to preserve cells?

I am looking for a tecnichal description on how to manually charge a bricked Roadster without removing the battery from the car. Tesla service is not an alternative, I know that Gruber offers such a service but they are not near and I would like to know how it is done. I tried to open the small...

BSM Contactor failure - unable to charge...

In case I have to charge the battery manually in the future, is it explained somewhere? Most important, where to connect the charger/power source to the battery terminals? Remove the Service Disconnect plug and put the charger terminals where the plug was positioned? Or can it be done inside...

    Service Disconnect

Thank you. I forgot the picture. Yes, the lever (see inside blue line) is loose (it can be removed).

    Service Disconnect

I have very thin arms and if you disconnect the thing that holds up the trunk I have no problem reacing it. You need to remove a "metal clip" to disconnect it. The outer part (see inside blue line in picture) of the service disconnect plug fell off and could be broken (I didn't break it...

BSM Contactor failure - unable to charge...

It definitely helped, no more BSM Contractor failure message. I am very grateful for the help. Stupid of me not to connect it properly, I heard a click and since it is so hard to pull it out I didn't bother pushing the lever in position.

BSM Contactor failure - unable to charge...

I see, what is the voltage limit? I don't understand the sentence about 6C. I find it strange that it shows this BMS Contractor failure error message, it should display a "too low voltage to charge battery" message. I tried charging after heating the car as described in my previous post, lowest...

BSM Contactor failure - unable to charge...

When a brick is 2.5 volts the battery capacity shows 0 % and there is a message to carge immediately. Driving the car not an option unfortunately, which makes this difficult. I have put fans that blow warm air (4-5 kW) under the car and put a outdoor Model S cover on top of the car to try to...

BSM Contactor failure - unable to charge...

PLEASE HELP, MY CAR MAY SOON BE BRICKED! I have this problem with a 1.5. The lowest brick is 2.5 volts so I guess the car will be bricked if I don't do something smart. It is -5 degrees C outside. I took the service disconnect and got the battery heated to 8 degrees C (lowest brick), but it...

    Executive seat conversion?

I remember it was not possible to order executive seats with backwards facing seats option (at least in Europe). I have the opposite question, is it possible to replace the executive seats with standard seats? If yes, does anyone in Europe want to trade or sell seats, color of the executive...

Locked out of Roadster, APS disabled and under door key lock/opening fails...

Could you please explain this? I locked my only key inside the Roadster and got a company (AAA-like probably) to open the car. I told them several times that I did not want any damage of the car and they had to just cancel the operation if there was a chance for damage. They pushed the door...
