Coal has too little hydrogen per carbon to extract H2 from it (economically speaking). It is so much easier to make gasoline, diesel and jet fuel from coal than making H2 or CH4. It might make sense to make butane from coal since it has much more Carbon per Hydrogen than methane (C4H10)...

I agree it might take longer than expected, but the censorial input and processing power shouldn't be an issue. The key problem isn't having more input, but rather the wisdom to know what's safe and what isn't with existing inputs. And they massively beefed up processing power on the V2 upgrade.

I feel we need a Full USA owner poll instead. This one is already nearing 2/3s yes. The real number likely is already 3/4 yes or even more. With several analysts saying production is over 1000 units/wk and total production nearing 100 units, a California only poll is kind of outdated.

I think the biggest smack down Tesla can do to gasoline cars is to achieve 10 million units/year production. Which would be nearly 10% of worldwide car production. Which with full autonomy could actually move the needle in decarbonization of the worldwide economy. You want Tesla to do it...

Is there any CA owner that has a reservation they can't order today ? Doesn't matter if you never got the invite e-mail, only if you go into your reservation and still can't order. It seems we still have CA owners that can't order yet.
