2017 X 100D. What is a degradation level that will trigger a battery replacement ?

Kewl, that is exactly my point, I am lower than that. How much lower until Tesla considers this is not what should happen => replace.

2017 X 100D. What is a degradation level that will trigger a battery replacement ?

HI all, 2017 100D here, with 105k miles. I am seeing a consistency 15%, sporadicly worse degradation. Anyone know what is the level at which Tesla will consider a battary exchange ? I would love getting this changed while I am under warranty :) I think current warranty contracts talks about...

Battery/repair replacement Companies in the PNW

Their website is not very professional, and have some weird capacity batteries. Maybe it is just not up to date. Did you talk to them ?

Supercharger - Issaquah, WA - Gilman Blvd. (under construction April 2024, 16 V4 stalls)

Yeah, we love super expensive Pizza around here. Paggliacci is even more expensive ! IMHO Tutta Bella are the best pizzas around, so I still go, but I make sure to use all the discounts I can find.

Puget Sound Energy (PSE) - time-of-use pilot

I did. I received my $100 enrollment gift card today. I am waiting to see how the Flex EV event will happen. If they are at the same time as the regular flex events, I'll cancel the EV program as it is less beneficial.

Puget Sound Energy (PSE) - time-of-use pilot

That is (almost) the case. It is 0.08/kwh at these hours. I think the price is confusing because usually I feel that you look for the cheap slot in your day when you have some TOU program. Here, you actually have the look for the high peak. Again 2/3 of the day is low peak

Puget Sound Energy (PSE) - time-of-use pilot

Actually it make sense now that you mention it. They have to map your usage to detect if you charge less. It is probably less an issue on a connected charger. Also, not sure how much of an issue is the wake up. It doesn't do much except a couple of calls, no ? All the peeps with external...

Puget Sound Energy (PSE) - time-of-use pilot

Thanks from following up with them. So now I am seeing something strange. Flex events normally pay back $1 per KWH saved (flex event faq). So, if they are going to monitor the charger/car and only pay $.50, then we are better off NOT registering our car (after we get the $100 :) ) and use the...

Puget Sound Energy (PSE) - time-of-use pilot

I think that seems too easy. The same system exists today, they just Added EV chargers/cars as devices they can "control". Until now my only device was my Nest thermostats. And at surge time, they would show me a message on it that would alert me, and lower my temperature. I expect them to do...

Puget Sound Energy (PSE) - time-of-use pilot

Would love to get their actual methodology spec. Shouldn't be that complex. Younger, poorer me would totally try to game that system :) I don't expect much savings from the EV related flex event, but I already got some cash back on flex events, it is better than nothing, + sign up incentives...

Puget Sound Energy (PSE) - time-of-use pilot

Yes, their FAQ "We calculate your energy savings for each Flex event using a baseline. This baseline is created by averaging the energy consumption of the four highest-usage days among the five weekdays before the event. Your goal is to use less energy during the event than this baseline. We...

Puget Sound Energy (PSE) - time-of-use pilot

They look at the same time period in the last 4 (?) days, do an average, and compare to the day they have a surge. So the trick is, in summer, they are going to do surges 5-8 likely in the evening. Since weekends are low rate, I will make sure to charge during that time, and do all my power...
