The commands you list are old v2 format. For v3 it is just ‘stat’ without the ‘?’. You can send a single ‘?’ to get a list of commands.

None. Logs don’t say much, and VMS was rebooted. Wouldn’t have been able to get in remotely anyway with obd process killed.

FYI (for others in the same boat): From the logs, the issue started a week or so before vds comms fault was shown. Linux out-of-memory called, and killed obd, inetd, and watchdog (so no remote diagnostics, or magic restart). Then a week later another out-of-memory killed vms processes (hence...

Easiest is ‘re start’, wait a few seconds, then ‘re list’. That will show a summary for each ID seen. The ‘re stop’ command stops collecting that data. You can also get a full dump (can log …), but harder to do remotely.

Got your email and replied. Looks like VMS is locked up / non responsive.

Sometimes it slips down the side. Can either try pulling up on those cables, or remove the side panel (just clips on).

Are you sure about that CAC 39.03 and ideal standard range 170 miles? Those two numbers should match, but are way off for you.

FYI: I’ve been told by my supplier that the Tesla Roadster (and pre Sep 2015 Model S) diagnostic connectors and pins are now ‘end of life’ and no longer being manufactured. They are selling their remaining stock but won’t be able to replenish after that.

They are mapped to other metrics, and retained for compatibility with v2 only.

By default, it will pick the MAC with the strongest signal. You can control this, and see here for details:

I’m sorry to report that Steve passed away in his sleep on July 4th. He was such a valued member of this, and other, communities and will be sorely missed. I think the cable was passed on to others to handle before he left us, but not sure who has taken on this.
