How is this still such a *sugar* show in late 2023?

The burger king has been closed for almost a year and there is zero progress with the site. Since we are now headed into fall I doubt this happens any time soon.

I’m local, will drive by this week sometime. As of a couple weeks ago there was no movement, BK sign and building were still standing.

I’m here charging now. Both of the broken stalls are now fixed and the broken ones are actually in a box behind the transformer pad. The transformer is a 1,000kVA which is awesome because some of the original V3 sites I visited only had 750kVA transformers.

Transformer has been installed. Looks like final site prep is underway. The last two stalls are still broken (unclear if they were vandalized or got damaged by a vehicle).

Did you see a transformer? Thats usually the big delay.

Chargepoint has a pretty comprehensive solution for apartments and condos. https://www.chargepoint.com/drivers/apartments-and-condos I think the reliability of their chargers is getting better these days but had some issues early on.

Several other remote sites have Starlink now. Surpsied they have not added it to jackman yet. They could also sell a connection to ChargePoint so their chargers also have connectivity.

Its a shame Tesla does not have a Superchager in Lewiston/Auburn yet. I think the region gets so overlooked because its still 2 cities even though its really just one area of ~60,000 people. I’ve seen some of the other chargers they put in under this program and they are underwelming to say...

I used to live at the Avalon Bay across the street. This is going to be great for a lot of the apartment dwellers in the area. I was at the mall at least once a week for something.

2018 LR3 at 12%. I can get the full 250 usually for a few moments before significant tapering If ambient is 70+ F and I’m preconditioned. I can’t wait for my Cybertruck, hopefully the curve is a lot better on that.
