If I had purchased this 22” MXP in cash, and sold it used today, I would have lost about $60k. That’s assuming I can sell a used MXP for 88k but that has now changed. I wager these will drop into the 60-70k range now. But since it’s a loan, with interest and maintenance costs already...

Exactly.

Used refresh MXPs used to hover north of 100k, and recently in the 90’s. Nobody is going to buy the same exact car, with 10-20k miles and less tech for more money then a brand new one. A new MXP (equipped like my $147k plaid) is 97k. How does residual value not get impacted?

My ‘22 X plaid has now dropped by $50k in MSRP value. Elon is creating enemies faster then friends at this point and he’s gotta be careful or he’ll lose the people who propelled him here.

This may sound crazy, but is this the first time you tried to use them? My wiper tube that connects to the pump was disconnected upon delivery of both my ‘22 MYP and again on my ‘22 MXP. The tube was visible when opening the hood and I just reconnected it to the wiper arm. Problem solved.

That’s the funny thing, isn’t it - I think we would all love a bug/feedback reporting system that worked, it would make all the current buyers feel as if they were beta testing his current cars. Sharing feedback at that scale could be incredible. Shame
