    2023 Shipping Movements

Mr M. is it just me, it seems very unusual to be this late in a quarter and Tesla only have one ship on the way to UK? I appreciate M3 will be in limited numbers but...?

    2022 Shipping Movements

Only 40 MY shipped to and delivered in Norway so far in Oct which is a surprise to me given the high numbers of MiG MY shipped in Sept, will be super interesting to see the Oct European deliveries. Did Berlin have another shutdown, deliver locally, or have they been shipping for export to Taiwan...?

    2022 Shipping Movements

It depends on the layout of the ship, some (few) have two ramps, if it has fixed ramps or ones that move, as more cars can be loaded if the ramps can be lowered and raised, and the size of the cars. I imagine they computer simulate the best layout for parking to maximise load, and for...

    2022 Shipping Movements

Loading cars on a roro is a slow process as cars can usually only be loaded one deck at a time due to ballasting so the ship doesn't tip. Also, manpower is a huge limiting factor as this video shows from 3:15, you reach a point on each deck where cars can only be parked one or two at a time for...

Looks like we'll both be keeping an eye out tomorrow then, I wonder if Tesla were organised enough to deliver the Norway cars early and then Glovis Sun brought cars for Northern Europe. I note AutoProgress which has been doing two runs a week to Oslo is having a few days off in port at...
