Have then on my Model Y as of a few days ago. No foam in side, quieter than stock continentals. 500AA rating.

Hankook new iON tire, an "EV" tire (not the same as Kinergy GT)

How has the wet traction? From the thick tread pattern I'm worried there might be much less wet traction as water from the center only has the three ridges to deflect to rather than the ridges and also through the outer edges with more gapped edge threads.

"100% Self powered" but still receiving charges for energy import

Very simple. I had similar confusion once I went with Tesla solar and battery. The definition of self powered means some form of assistance, either solar or battery. So even if say solar contributes 1kw continuously throughout the day while the rest comes from grid, the app will consider this...

Model Y LR 7 seats white exterior black interior

Just be patient; lots of demand and production crunch due to supply constraints.

Model 3: Fan running while parked

Confirmed, it was off so still very odd. I suspect it's every morning as I've consistently heard it in the morning ~ 8 to 9am or so...will check tomorrow.

Model 3: Fan running while parked

Thanks, it's off. Been off since they added the feature to the software. I'll double check to make sure though...

Model 3: Fan running while parked

Yes, I’m aware of the automatic hvac fan running a few minutes after stopping. However I’ve had the car parked now for a couple of days, next to other model 3 too, and this model 3 for whatever reason turns on the fan randomly. I’ve noticed it on in the morning a few times now even if we...

Comprehensive List of Model 3 Updates

This changed too, now it's one piece with a thin line under the wood dash. Early models had it shown as in the picture.

    Model 3 buzzing after parked

Yes. This is 100% normal. It’s the AC compressor and is variable speed depending on AC demands; when it’s at high speeds you have this sound. I have two model 3 and they are identical like this — particularly when starting up when off and cabin temperature is higher than desired temperature on...

    Model 3 AP Induced Crash?

If I remember reading correctly, driver had pedal pressed. Screen warns you it will not auto stop if you have pedal pressed. In this case, driver input overrides as it should just like driver steering or driver braking.

Dashcam quality on HW3 FW 2019.7.106

What it processes, and what it process to store on the USB are two different things. It is so powerful that it can process 60 frames per second or more, however it then processes or downscales this to 30 frames per second with additional compression for USB storage so you can make any...

New vs. Old Solar Warranty - Is it worth the price?

I'm in you 100% exact situation. 10.725kWh system, 2 Delta Solivia 5.2. I thought I was reading my own post! I even calculated the 4500 rough savings for my system and also have the 5+ year for referral! I was flabbergasted when I just read all the coincidences. I have revised contract with...

Orange Sealant or Glue on Battery Pack’s Cover?

Have you rotated your tires? I recall another incident where they put the jack on the bottom instead of the Jack moutnt point and something similar happened. Good news however, that is the sealant they use it remember correctly and it was just pushed out due to the weight

Info from Tesla - 277v feed to Wall Connector (HPWC) - Which Cars Support It

Right now I’m charging on Tesla gen 2 charger at 277 volts. VOltage here never reached 277 and was around 3-5 volts lower. Amperage never went to 48, but does stay somewhat stable at 46. See picture.
