Just got an email from Tesla re: the above: Tesla mailed you a 1099-MISC form for 2020. This form was sent in error and is being corrected through the IRS. Tesla will send you a corrected 1099-MISC form for your records via USPS by Friday, February 5, 2021.

I received one too. I have no idea what it's about, and have yet to try to call Tesla.

Yeah that's a good point. I could keep a single Powerwall where they are currently installed, and cancel the other two so the installation doesn't take over the entire garage.
