PEM, motor gets too hot -- fans failed

The 010 is bigger. If you buy a 009-A70-74D from Ebay or Amazon, you will have to splice on the Tesla connector directly to the motor leads, which bypasses the speed resistor that is mounted on it.

Hardtops and other clear carbon fiber parts now in production

Just my 2 cents on the mudflaps-- I made plain flat carbon ones for one of my roadsters and they do drag on the ground quite a bit on lot/driveway aprons (very loudly I might add). My flat ones will bend and just wear on the bottom, but if you make them molded like the original units they will...

    SF Bay HPWC

Sounds like your pack is failing and is way out of balance. Check the min and max voltage readings in the service menu. Charging stops when one brick reaches just over 4.1V (standard mode).

    TPMS sensor battery failed

I doubt you will find someone to program sensors that you buy elsewhere. All the brands of sensors have their own programming tool. The universal sensors have to be configured first to the car type, and then only some of them can be reprogrammed with a new ID. There was someone on EBay that...

    TPMS sensor battery failed

Some universal sensors are only adapable to the type of vehicle, the actual programmable ones you can set the ID, so you can swap them without a relearn. You can order them online, but you need that fouth ID#. See if you can find someone else local. Tesla will just sell you new sensors and then...

    TPMS sensor battery failed

The ID number is on the unit itself, but sometimes it can still be read with a TPMS tester. The signal is just not strong enough to be read by the car when the battery gets weak. A shop that sells the programable sensors can do the work. If you write down the ID numbers and locations, you can...

    TPMS sensor battery failed

Buy a set of of four 433mhz programmable sensors, clone your existing ID numbers and you will be all set.

Rear tie rod ends--Lotus or custom?

No, it is a direct replacement. The Lotus had an upgrade that included the spherical rods and a cross brace to put the attaching bolt in double shear. The standard Lotus design used a regular ball joint type tie rod (with a 4 inch long stud to attach it) and was prone to failure during track...
