    Ireland road trip

all depend on where you are going. Dublin to Galway is 130 miles for example. ESB now apply a fee for chargers. - in Northern Ireland they remain free for the time being. only a handful of superchargers in Ireland. One on the Belfast-Dublin motorway, one on the Cork-Dublin route and one more...

Travelling to Co. Donegal in April advice please

Part of the problem with using the existing network in Ireland is that is is small and if you turn up at a charger you might well have to wait an hour if a Leaf or Zoe is charging. I did plenty of runs to Dublin in a Leaf only to find the charger at Castlebellingham in use by some local Leaf...

Travelling to Co. Donegal in April advice please

No Superchargers in Northern Ireland at all - talk of one near Lisburn but I think that Castlebellingham covers the Belfast Dublin route adequately enough that it would be better to put one on the Belfast to Derry road - like Glenshane. Better get an ESB card (ecars) as the fast chargers in...

Tesla website - used inventory - gone

Invitation. Offer and acceptance. Under UK consumer la Tesla have entered into a contract with you. It might be different in the US but EU/UK law is pretty clear. Write to Tesla giving them 21 days to perform the contract. If they fail to do so you can buy another vehicle of similar spec and...

2019.40.50.1 - Car is mostly deaf to voice commands

What amazes me is that they spend *any* time at all developing pointless fluff like fart mode and games.

    Software updates (new owners)

create a service appointment mentioning that your car is not updating when connected to WiFi and they will force it to your car - then you can cancel the appointment.

Comparing Electricity price plans -- there's not as much in it as you think

But I compare my car usage to other options like using an ICE car or walking or cycling. There is also the 'green' element of driving electric. Is my electric car cheaper than my previous diesel - no, but the difference is marginal and I value to other benefits such as not polluting my street...

    2019/20 Orders and Deliveries [closed]

Your colour choice is the killer I guess as FSD can be switch on via software. I know someone who ordered from inventory - on 25 Nov - a Blue/White LR AWD and picking up on Friday from Edinburgh. I ordered white/black LR AWD and ordered end Aug and picked up 20 Nov from Edinburgh

    Reg Number before delivery

don’t bother with the online stuff. Go old school and use the phone. I went with a local broker (Abbey Insurance) and got it all sorted quite quickly. The online computers throw out some crazy numbers A few calls from broker to AXA and it was all sorted.

    2019.36.2.3

If it is not updating - do what I did and contact via a service appointment. I think they switch off the updates until delivery and miss a few cars getting reactivated. making the appointment costs you nothing and might kick start the process.
