My VIN is a 676 variant, and I had delivery confirmation first, followed by confirmation of USS update and then VIN this evening!

I don’t know why but I check the ship tracker more now after getting a collection date than ever before!!

Collection confirmed for 9th December at Bristol (Portbury) Very delighted since waiting since February! Makes it mroe bittersweet a family member ordered the day before and picked up in March!!

So .. I’ve got some maybe good news too? I spoke to tesla chat today, they have said that I have a VIN assigned to me now! I did ask if they would give me this in full but they said they can’t? Does this sound right to people? I don’t want to get my hopes up otherwise!

Did they give you the full VIN?

Problem I have is I’m now carless and my work won’t give me as much grace if it goes much beyond December. I’ve spoken to Tesla and they’ve just said they’re sorry there isn’t anything more they can do. So I’m going to be at a point in two or three weeks where I have to cancel to get another...

Mid Feb order and I’m still waiting. They’ve definitively pushed my order back to Mid December at the earliest according to chat. If it gets pushed back again I’ll be cancelling the order.

I just don’t get how orders to delivery are done. Especially you’d imagine they’d go chronologically from the order date…
