The Tesla chargers have yellow tape around all of them as of 9:30 p.m. tonight. I did not look, but I didn't notice bags on the Chargepoint chargers. The one I looked at seemed to be ready to go - there may have been an amber light on, IIRC.

Hayward would be ideal for a destination charger. A Trego supercharger would be nice, but probably low on the priority list.

After one trip through Chicago's bumper to bumper traffic at 10:30 p.m., we take the Peru/Normal/Champaign route to and from MN and Bloomington IN. Indy is decent, too. Last trip, with Peru open we skipped Normal as it is a painful detour unless you want to stop for the night. Have a good trip!

AMN: I see the wink but can't tell if that is a wink for the timing or the party. Do you or anyone have information or an educated guess on when it will be operational? Turnaround by 10/23 would be really fast, but I can hope.

Granted I am biased in thinking Tesla should concentrate on the interstate system, but keep in mind Up North includes Alexandria, Detroit Lakes, etc. for a lot of cabin goers.

The Brainerd/Baxter area and surrounding area, including north of Brainerd is a very large vacation area for Minnesota. While the Baxter SC is nice, as far as priority, I would say I-94 from Minneapolis/St. Paul to the northwest would be much higher.

Thanks MN_Bob! I used the SC Friday 9/18 at 6 p.m. and Saturday 9/19 5 p.m. with no other Teslas and no ICE. Parking ramp was quite busy Saturday.
