Totally agree - had 2021 with no issues; new 2024 auto doesn't turn on no matter how much rain there is; have to manually do all wipers and change speeds as you are driving in rain - a real problem in Florida with downpours. Told fix is coming but this is ridiculous!

Yea but you have to switch from intermittent to more often while driving in rain - auto doesn't work at ALL in new 2024 - service center says there will be a software update but WHEN!!

Since I found out that headlights do NOT go on when windshield wipers go on and that even when both on auto, I have to manually turn headlights on to follow the law in FL. Ran into downpour and tried to do voice command to turn on headlights and found it only turns on dome lights. Not helpful...

Been checking with friends with Teslas and so far everyone thought the lights came on automatically and were quite surprised to find out that they don't. Agree with all of you that we at least need an option to turn this feature back on.

Are you aware that your headlights DO NOT automatically turn on when your windshield wipers are on (either manually or with auto setting)? Tesla took this feature OUT OF THE FIRMWARE so you have to manually turn on your lights when your windshield wipers are on to be in compliance with the law...

They took the ability of the lights to automatically come on when the wipers go on (whether the wipers are in auto or manual mode). You have to manually turn the lights on when your wipers go on (either in auto or manual mode) to comply with most laws for headlights to be on when wipers are on...
