Autopilot on 2023.12.1.1 much improved for me.

The lowest setting my car allows is 2 (only the versions with radar can go to 1). It's at setting 2 that I've noticed this significant improvement. Previously if I was on 2, unless the car in front slows gradually, there was a good chance mine would end up braking hard and come to a stop with...

Autopilot on 2023.12.1.1 much improved for me.

Ok, good to know. That's what I'm noticing as well. Did you update to 2023.12.5? I'd like to assume the improvement came with the major version (the number directly after year) and isn't going to regress if I update from 12.1.1 to 12.5.

Autopilot on 2023.12.1.1 much improved for me.

Interesting. That update is pending on my car and I'm honestly holding off installing 2023.12.5 because of how good 2023.12.1.1 has been for me. I don't want to risk regression. Thanks for the comment, I'm going to keep holding off for now going to 12.5.

Autopilot on 2023.12.1.1 much improved for me.

Has anyone else noticed a significant improvement with basic autopilot in smoothly stopping for a stopped car ahead, and in stop and go traffic on 2023.12.1.1? On previous versions if I was using AP and there were cars stopped ahead it seemed like AP would wait too long and then hit the...

How solid is your car's plug + charge port?

I'm not really pulling hard at all, just enough the little bit of wiggle room. Ok, I'm going to have it looked at. Must be something that needs to be adjusted.

How solid is your car's plug + charge port?

When I plug in if the cord is plugged in solid and just hanging from gravity everything is fine. But if I pull on the cord twords the back/trunk it will interrupt the charging. Is this normal? It is not a problem for me at home because there is no reason for me to pull on the cord, but at some...

Autopilot stopping was much better in 2022.8.3 than the 2022.12 or 2022.16

I have a 2022 M3LR. If I was following someone on residential streets autopilot 2022.8.3 would generally stop very nicely (although still leaving a larger gap than I would even on my closest follow distance). However since getting 2022.12.3 the car seems so less confident when the car in front...

Can we make a master Google Doc of rattles/noises and the fixes?

I suppose I was wondering if any of the moderators would be interested in doing this. I think we are probably all in the same mindset: it would be great but probably a lot of work to curate. I'll ponder if I'm will to do so as well for now and post here if I go for it. Thanks for giving feedback!

Can we make a master Google Doc of rattles/noises and the fixes?

I'd love it if we could start a master google doc of all the rattles/noises etc. that all us owners have had and what the fix we found for them was. I could see this list becoming the go to place for all new owners. And if it really took off even Tesla might be able to use it to address the...

    Spotify - Buggy/Not Loading?

I'm also having this since 2022.8.2. Was going to try logging out and in again / 2 button reset etc etc, but haven't gotten around to trying fixes.

"Keep the Tesla app running for the best phonekey experience"

Just an FYI for anyone interested. On Android if you want to hide the persistent icon you can long press the notification, hit settings, either turn off the phone key notification, or press on it and on the next screen you can choose minimized. Then you see it in the notification shade, but...

    2022.3.101.1

Home rate is $0.13/kWh total with all the taxes and fees. The one time trying out a supercharger was $7.50 ($0.34/kWh). So probably more like $20 for 175kWh without that test. I'm on a fixed plan right now. What is your rate? I kind of got carried away driving my new toy. 700 miles so far...

    2022.3.101.1

It showed up yesterday in my app right after the update. It is only 10 days old today. 🙂

    2022.3.101.1

I think this is part of it and other hardware differences of the newer cars (no radar for example) Given that the hardware differences between Model 3/Y and Model S/X are far more and many of them are on the same version, I suspect that eventually the main Software version roadmap will...
