Honestly i do not notice the 35-50 vibration at all anymore. After the sw update. Start up vibration remains the same and is crummy on such an expensive vehicle.

Yep, you have to wonder if they even own a plaid claiming that. Its an extremely sophisticated TC system and really nothing like a traditional system. I also don’t think there’s any evidence lucid tc system is better. I believe they use a bosch system as they couldn’t figure it out themselves

I don’t buy it. Plaid is a different beast in warm/hot temps. Plaids TC can be extremely insidious and you won’t “feel” anything but you’ll be slower.

I’ve been mulling this over as well. With the giant price cuts financially its not a terrible deal (id never buy fsd). The issue is you’re entering a panel lottery like you’re buying a crappy samsung tv. You don’t know if you’re car will be put together correctly, if it will be aligned correctly...

If only the Model S could be put together like the refreshed 3. Tesla really did the nice job on the Highland. The panel gaps look like you’d expect from a German or Japanese manufacturer.

Its obviously not directly related but there’s a hardware or software change which resulted in the vibration. There’s certainly some preliminary evidence the newer plaid is slower than the original in the 1/4 mile

I’m pretty sure they still list the plaid as trapping 155 Eventhough it never did.

They were absolutely trapping 151-152 and as put can see the brand new plaid on the same track running 9.33 at 149.

They did. Brooks seems to think his plaids performance degraded with time but that really isn’t consistent with dragy tests people did about a year after the plaid was released. Nor is it consistent with older generation of S that maintained its performance with time. My guess is Tesla found a...

I’m convinced Tesla nerfed the plaids after 21 MY and has something to do with the startup vibration that only happens on 22+. New ones aren’t even trapping 150 anymore.

I guess its very individual if the wheel blocks the display. I have no issue with it. Its a real shame you can’t get wood in the plaid. I must be in a small minority that loves wood in the interior. Anyone know ballpark what 22 plaid with 8k miles would be worth? I’m considering selling and...
