Any updates on this? Also does anyone know whether there is a place on the purchase documents or in the app of the referee which shows who the referrer was? Or is contacting Tesla the only way to verify the referrer was correct?

Thanks for the info. Yes, they did get the $500 discount but I never received anything in my app. This is their first Tesla product so it wouldn’t have been disqualified for that reason either. Seems like this is a not uncommon issue based on this thread. Frustrating.

If you worry about the extra cost and care more about practicality than performance you should just get the LR. The LR already has plenty of performance and the added efficiency and cheaper tires of the LR will make the long-term price saving higher than that initial $3000 as time progresses.
