I took delivery march 30, DMV says Tesla hasn’t made the full payment. Texted that info tk Tesla and they replied to wait 90 days and didn’t mention the payment issue dmv mentioned. Just followed up mentioning it again so we will see what happens…

Does anyone know if repairing paint chips on a color like Ultra Red is more complicated than a normal color? Is it still possible to do a perfect repair?

It’s not Tesla specific, it’s specific to an apparently more complicated paint they are using and trying to find out if I should worry more because of it.

Did you ever get any recommendations? I’ve used beach cities on Lincoln in Venice drive through often for my last model S but just got an ultra red plaid S and worried if drive through brushless can damage the paint.

A few photos of MSP ultra red next to M3 in regular red. In the sun too! Just picked this up today. Really loving the color, even better in person. Also coming from a 2020 regular S to Plaid this is a different beast…the speed is totally insane, the interior finishes are a huge upgrade.

I was offered 3.99% as a current lease holder. Required to trade in my current leased car (couldn't purchase it). I'm looking at a lease rate right around there at 120k car before taxes (MSP, UR, enhanced driving). It's for any new S or X lease.

Yeah have heard the same thing. No one has front plates and I've never had issues. Tinting rear windows is allowed at any level, the fronts are where the restrictions are I believe. Some tinting companies offer ticker insurance, im assuming thats removal and replacement after ticket is resolved...
