Do tesla just randomly assign VIN's to orders? I don't understand how people that have ordered a lot later with the same specs are being allocated cars!?

I'm getting so impatient now 🤣 The main issue I have is that the order is through a leasing company so I can't check the source code. Juts have to go through Tesla chat or ask the leasing company if there are any updates.

Spoke with a CS agent today that advised that they are not expecting any vessels in November, and it probably won't be until mid-november that we get VIN numbers.

It's so strange Faz. I'm not sure what the issue would be with giving Tesla the ok to speak with you. Mines the opposite that they have asked twice now but Tesla has ignored the requests.

Yeah, we have an RN number but there is one CS representative that won't give us any info because apparently, the leasing company need to give Tesla permission. Then said that we should push for that permission because it could delay things...

Just wondered people that have ordered through a leasing company have you had to ask them to contact Tesla to give permission for them to speak directly with you?
