2015 model S wheel exact size details

I have a 2015 85D With 19” silver turbine wheels. Are all 4 wheels the same exact size? Are the rear a 1/2” larger? How do you figure out which is which if they have been rotated?

Drive Unit failure symptoms and thresholds for replacement

Just wait until your warranty expires! Better off it! 58k out of warranty cost more a month to fix than my monthly payment...like pulling teeth to get warranty coverage on drive unit after 4 year is up.

Please Help! Drive unit seal not covered under warranty as part of drive unit??

Got it back from service was solid until I hit the slightest bump. Had to go back, explained rear felt loose they chuckled and we went for a test drive. Techs face was red after a few bumps and went back in to find they didn’t bolt the stabilizer link down. Woke up this morning in the cold, got...

Please Help! Drive unit seal not covered under warranty as part of drive unit??

Not under factory 4 year just 8 year so they won’t cover it! Seal is in catelog for parts so not covered lol. Love the logic. According to my paperwork I should be covered but nothing I can do but fork over $700 for three seals that didn’t blow sounds like a bad joke

Please Help! Drive unit seal not covered under warranty as part of drive unit??

New update: just got off the phone with tesla, they checked with their lead tech and another service center location. They are telling me that even if the drive unit failed which it has not. The seals still wouldn’t be covered and I would incur the cost to replace them. We’re at a stale mate...

Your correct, I guess I meant, not recommended by tesla to service. Not a basic service item. Gotta drop the axle to replace not very easy

Tesla Model Y Long Range vs AWD

it’s listed at 300 for order. The CARB was lower than the 3 not accounting for size and less aero dynamics. The most important aspect is you have to consider you can only charge to 90% without risking damaging battery. We will see. Hope they can do better

Tesla Model Y Long Range vs AWD

you have to consider the fact you can’t charge to 100% unless the Y has a factory limit built in, which I haven’t heard they do. So 90% of 300 is 270. Hoping we get a 10-15mile bump with software upgrade. Biggest expense I have found besides door handles is tires. Ripping through Michelins in...
