Just my guess. There might be other reasons. When the GC was denied entry to Australia. I reached out to them about a refund for my order fee. At that point, I was close to canceling my order because I was pretty fed up with the situation as I sold my old car.

I think they might give priority to orders that haven't been fully paid yet in case it is canceled at the last minute. I've got a slot booked for next Monday. I made the payment today.

Yeah, you are right. I should say it didn't happen to everyone. I hope those with the ex-GC cars can have them delivered safe and sound. I believe Tesla will ensure the cars are clean and the batteries are faultless.

When GC was denied entry by DAFF, Someone suggested that Tesla might not allocate new cars to us and we were stuck with GC cars. Thankfully, that didn't happen. 🤣
