Supercharger - Bakersfield, CA - Enos Ln. (LIVE 16 Sep 2022, 12 stalls)

Was by there again on Sunday (8/28) and no change since my last visit. Wonder if they’re waiting for PG&E 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Supercharger - Bakersfield, CA - Enos Ln. (LIVE 16 Sep 2022, 12 stalls)

I was by on Saturday and it looks largely complete. Chargers were covered, but construction appears done.

Can I add more solar with PG&E?

Glad I saw this post as I just today signed the contract to install a 9.6kW solar system on my house. Sounds like there’s a number of you that are quite familiar with the PG&E+solar+EV arrangement. My question is what tariff you are on? At present with no solar, I am on EV-2, but my installer...

New Tesla Owner - and Dashcam Viewer

Glad it worked! I haven’t had any issues since - hope you don’t either.

    Creaky sound plaid

I’d definitely give the tape thing a try on the back seat latches. I seemed to notice the noise under acceleration, and I was convinced that it too was body flex. But I did the a few wraps of tape and the noise is gone - several weeks now.

From moneywise.com "Unreliable Cars You Might Regret..."

I’ve seen quite a few click-bait articles discrediting Teslas, or EVs in general - many under a title like “true cost of ownership”, etc. And almost to an article, they’re heavily biased against EVs and greatly skew the data (at best) or simply make stuff up (at worst). I simply don’t...

Elon tweets "no waypoints", "car will autonavigate to your destination."

So I just installed 2021.40.6 and one of the key features is the ability to add stops in navigation.

Tesla ranks 2nd worst in Consumer reports reliability survey

I struggle to make the connection between “reliability” vs. build quality issues. I believe my Tesla will prove to be highly reliable - much higher than some of the ICE vehicles I’ve owned. Yes, I have noticed and had repaired a build quality issue and fixed a rattle myself, but I don’t...

Elon tweets "no waypoints", "car will autonavigate to your destination."

IMHO, there’s simply no excuse for not having waypoints. Hell, even the Tesla website has that ability in their “Go Anyway” trip planner - not having it the car itself is absurd!

Refreshed Model S - rear seat rattle

So I had this rattle coming from the back, drivers side seat. I initially noticed it with the seat empty and under acceleration. Then with a passenger in the seat it seemed louder. I went ahead and put a couple of wraps on the metal bar the seat latches to, and amazingly enough the rattle has...

    Refresh LR Black Screen

This happened to me just yesterday. Backing out of the garage, both screens were black. Rebooted the system and they came back on, but this is very concerning!

19" tires on Plaid and LR

I thought about this after my previous response, but could it be a regional thing? Like colder climes get AS, places like here in CA only get summer tires. Seems like it’d be difficult to manage deliveries that way but 🤷🏻‍♂️

19" tires on Plaid and LR

Mine does not have M+S tires on it. My refreshed MS-LR, 19” (delivered 9/1) came with Pirelli P-Zero ELECT tires that indicate “TO”, which I beleive is as Tesla spec tire. Nowhere on the tire does it indicate “all season”, M+S, or anything else which would lead you to believe they are all season.
