I was thinking the same and therefore bought another pair of sliding armrest from ebay. I can easily swap back if the alcantara ones start to wear.

Had a little side project that I wrap sliding armrest with alcantara. Turned out ok but I kind of wish I know how to operate a sewing machine to give them contrast stiching. Any other interior pieces that I can remove easily for my second alcantara project?

Plastidip the chrome trims on rear diffuser. Did not touch the grey plastic.

I taped up the parts I don't want to paint. No body panel removal. Automotivetouchup.com is where I got my touchup paint.

Thanks guys. I figure they would look better than unpainted plastic, even if there are rock chips later on. It will hold me over until I get unplugged front bumper refresh.

Tried searching but could not find what I was looking for. Does anyone know if I can remove the front lip of pre-facelift bumper without removing the bumper itself? It would be great if there is a DIY vide on how to do this. Been thinking about painting the lip body color but want to get more...
