I don't think I drove that far over the curb. It sounded very bad, though, and I don't remember all the details, but I'm sure my tires couldn't have gone over it.

Thanks that is helpful. I hope it's condensation water, then, and just something I never noticed before. Maybe today I was paranoid because of I hit the parking bumper, and had read something about battery fluid draining out after a hit.

Thanks for responding. So the plastic piece is orange/reddish but the fluid coming out is clear, watery.

The fluid is like water in consistency. Not oily. I put a paper towel on the ground under the spot, and here's what it looks like. Really just like water. The towel got wet and dirty so is stained.
