As a SW engineer with 30 years embedded medical device experience (similarly regulated industry), it's a total failure on the SW engineering side to not account for legacy devices on which your new SW will run.

REALLY?!? Are they *blind*?!? I saw that post, I thot there was a huge difference. I don't think I would be nearly as comfortable in a Y as the X, not to mention the huge difference in storage space. I was given an S by the SC for a day. That really sucked.
