Why is my HPWC red instead of green?
If this can help anyone else with the red light, in my case this happened many months after it was installed. When I opened it up and torqued on the hot terminals I found one of them not screwed all the way down. Sure enough, that was it. With the power off, do check you have a tight connection...- pciccone

Tesla infotainment system upgradeable from MCU1 to MCU2
In my case neither. I pestered them so much on checking, they remembered it when I opened a service request for something else and proactively scheduled it for me since the VIN recently got flagged for upgrade since the last time I checked.- pciccone
