Solar Panels on a Flat Roof

Ours are all on weighted sleds (not installed by Tesla, since they won't install on a flat roof in some states, incl TX).

    Abstract Ocean - Frustrated

Hi all Sorry about the confusion. We have an automated email that was set to fire for pre-orders, but I forgot to disable it when we put the camera covers in stock today after spending the weekend stuffing 1200+ envelopes. Any orders placed today are not pre-orders, and will, as usual, ship...

    2022 Model Y - USB Data Ports - USB-A Glovebox Only

It seems at this point Tesla are making it difficult enough to not be worth the effort. We've not had any reports of our 'normal' mini to mini cable coming loose or detaching, if you're concerned about that, a wrap of electrical tape will provide some extra confidence. It's not something you'll...

    2022 Model Y - USB Data Ports - USB-A Glovebox Only

Lol. In that case you're on the cusp of maybe having the cable there and tied up, chopped off, or entirely absent. Only way to know for sure is to check.

    2022 Model Y - USB Data Ports - USB-A Glovebox Only

I would normally expect a Model year '21 3 or Y to still have full data capabilities. As a general rule, Model Year '22 and onwards do not have the data capability on the front USB C ports, and June '22 onwards do not have the cable. There's aways exceptions, but I don't think we've seen any...

    2022 Model Y - USB Data Ports - USB-A Glovebox Only

I'm not certain, but from looking at the parts catalog, this appears to be the one:

Clear Coat on RPMTesla Spoiler Flaking After 15 Months?

Lol. It's amazing the stuff some of the tech's claim voids the warranty.

Clear Coat on RPMTesla Spoiler Flaking After 15 Months?

It's definitely a failure of the clearcoat, either not enough coats, poor UV stability, or it was applied in damp conditions (most likely). Obviously there's many Tesla's out there still with the OG spoilers from their 2013 Model S that are not having issues, so this shouldn't be a thing, not...

Buyer Be Ware: RPM Tesla Cubby

More importantly @TheDestroyer , is that a MÄNNKITCHEN Pepper Cannon in the background? I've been trying to justify buying one :)

2022 Model X front doors difference versus 2021 Model X?

Late to this thread (though not as late as our Model X delivery!). No issues with the drivers door functions (not key, just iPhones), but wish the passenger door would do the same; I assume there's no way for that to happen, presumably it doesn't have the same presence sensors the drivers door has?

    No trunk side lights

Here's where the lights should be, and if they're not, you should be able to feel for the punchouts. The actual power cables for the lights will be nearby, but tend to be tucked away a little, still easy enough to find though. I've added a little more information to our help article.
