Byron Drag Strip is in a lovely rural setting. Looking down the track at the quarter mile lights you see the bellowing towers of the Byron Nuclear Power Plant. The place was packed and filled with some nuts. There were bikes hitting 7.75's @177mph.

Finally got word (first since 9/29/15). My upgrade is scheduled for 5/31 in Highland Park, IL. They indicated they are awaiting parts but are slotting me into the queue. They said that my P85D is a later version which requires a different parts set than earlier versions.
