After gaining plenty of experience in construction as a young man, Jack Frahm was hired to assist in expediting the construction and development of 7 Flags Car Wash in Fairfield, California in 1987. The building of 7 Flags was Jack's first experience in constructing a car wash. Following the successful development of 7 Flags, owner Jack Anthony offered Jack a management role and taught him the ins and outs of the business.
During his many years at 7 Flags, Jack developed a detail center and, at the community's request, transformed what began as an express wash into a full-service wash. Under his management, the fullservice car wash had a 20-25% increase in sales volume and car counts annually.
Since, Jack has been a consultant to numerous car washes. He considers the highlight of his career to be when he ran two of the country's busiest car washes in San Francisco and Berkeley in the early 2000s. While there, he managed up to 160 employees per location and had multiple managers reporting to him. His main role was to assist in the development and implementation of new strategies that would enable more cars to be washed per day. Implementing these strategies, the San Francisco location alone transitioned from 1,200 cars washed per day to 1,600 an increase of 33%.
In the late 1990's, Jack was contracted by two separate developers to assist in the planning and development of car washes in both Northern and Southern California. Following the successful opening of each of these washes, he continued working as a freelance business consultant for car washes throughout the West Coast and Arizona.
Jack's life goal is to do all that he can to change the car wash industry for the better, and at the same time create a very profitable business model. This has been the foremost inspiration in developing Planet Earth Car Wash. Now is the right time for Jack to get back into the car wash business, so that he can show that a 100% eco-friendly car wash in fact costs less to run and can be more profitable than a traditional car wash.
