Finally, it appears several car-companies are eventually srarting to challenge the previous "Tesla hegmony" with regard to electric cars. Of recent, I find the Ioniq 5 in particular interesting; Hyundai Ioniq 5 electric car surpassed 18,000 units in 1 hour prior contract Any thoughts?

For me personally, it is probably mostly about small things and personal preferences. Eg like liking a traditional SUV form-factor over the model Y. Liking traditional "knobs" over ... digital "things", physical measures, etc. (The "Y" will not even fit into my garage).

With VW, I am used to instant/same day access to service, whenever needed. After owning 2 VWs for 17 years in combine, my needs for services have added up to in total 1 instant assistance after failure of a motor control unit/"black box" + ordinary yearly services. Whit Tesla; months? Google...
