do you still have warranty? if so have tesla fix it under warranty. i read they have to upgrade to the matrix headlight because the other is no longer made. i also read service mode wont work, you need the tesla toolbox to change the coding.
drive unit is aluminum and possibly cracked since you hit something, draining the oil out of the drive unit case. worse case scenario need new drive unit.

you're probably cutting the evoffer motor cable that pulls the hood closed. maybe it is stuck closed and wont release? that cable is like a bicycle shift cable. it's a metal coated coiled cable housing that surrounds a shift cable. whatever tool you're using to cut will need good leverage. the...
