I'm dealing with the same issue right now. Are you saying comp claim as in comprehensive claim or what is meant by that? Not sure how it would swing as comprehensive if they are claiming it was damaged on a collision, but would love to be able to do this since my comp deductible is only 250 haha.

Alright so I just transferred to my sister and there was zero issues whatsoever. the whole thing was contactless delivery too so I highly doubt Tesla gonna intervene.

hey Jeb, as I understand it, my family member has been contacted by the SA to confirm delivery and schedule a pick up date, hence why we would like to respond to them by the end of the week if we are going to be going the transfer route.

I'm going off fair market price based off the handful I've seen listed online. The alternative is I switch it under my information and list it privately at the same price mentioned. I'm simply opening it up to offers to allow another interested party to be able to take the delivery themselves.

I just spoke with the SA who called me about my delivery, and he stated that they can update the registration info to another person, they would just have to use the Tesla account associated with the reservation. Curious what others have been told.
