    Car Unable to Charge

Probably charge unit . There are in newer models 2 x 24 amp chargers that allow 48 amps it will cost about 2100$ That was what I paid post warranty.

    Faulty door handles

The 2016 Model S has a design flaw in the early delivery prior to the upgrade. The pre-multiple cameras Model S before Oct 2016 had a wiring harness that passed over the inner handle extender for the handle to present. It will present but the mechanism to open shorts out. A design change was...

Supercharger - Milford, CT - Boston Post Road

I was at this supercharger last night at about 10:30 pm and I think I dropped my Tesla Fob and a money clip with PJS engraved. It was the middle charger of the line. If anyone finds it I would appreciate it Paul J Schubert 155 Sohier Street Cohasset ma 339-499-8624c#

Why is Autopilot always trying to Kill me?

70,000 Mi on a Model S 2016 about 1/2 on interstate highways, and those two locations I would NOT use autopilot. The lanes are not clear and not a divided highway with road markings very suspect. I take control with construction, new line painting, tight left or right Jersey barriers or complex...

New to Tesla: Distance added per hour of Destination Charge - kW, MPH, Amps, etc

If you need 150 miles which will likely get you to a supercharger then: 110v 4 miles /hr 220v 18-24 m/hr Level2 charger 28 m/hr Tesla wall charger (destination charger) 36-42m/hr depending on amps. So overnight full battery unless it’s a 110 A charger. I do look for Tesla destination chargers...

    Is 48k a good price for a ‘16 75D with ext warr?

I have same options except white with sun roof and leather seats. Check on month of build as the later 2016 use AP2. Mine was June build and it’s AP1.I would say good deal as long as no accidents.

Near freeway divider collision - on autopilot

In other words, take control when quick merge or road divides or if construction is present and there are no clear lines to follow. You will see the same problem with restriping of the road. You may not have hit it but at that speed to find the proper lane timing wise you might worry and brake...

Near freeway divider collision - on autopilot

Don't use auto pilot when lines are present with jersey barriers. It does not sense the jersey barrierrs when the roads split. The same applies when left passing lane jersey barriers are present. Autopilot may side swipe them if the lines disappear or the road splits.

    75D battery degradation

Latest update installed in a 2016 refreshed Model S 75D, 251 mi on full charge down from when new 256 mi. No change with update. 59,000 miles and decline steady since new.

Planning to only use 110 outlet

I upgraded to a HPWC, but I travel with the Model S all over so I did not want to be concerned about travel range. Yes, range anxiety. From my point of view the range anxiety has settled so upgrade if you run into problems. I recommend the wall charger but it will be $1000 to buy it and install it.

2015 Tesla Accelerated into a wall

She had foot on accelerator not the brake. One man's opinion.

    Lifetime Average Wh/mi

321w/mi at 58,000 miles in a 2016 build model S. Recently put on 21” arachnid tires haven’t seen much difference in range.

    Premature Tire Life

Someone is doing donuts in the school parking lot. I have a MS and 23 k for second tire set and 32K on the first set. I do drive aggressively off the line but no burning rubber. .
