Don't do it! A car in neutral is a car out of control. Use your accelerator to regulate speed; it gives you the ultimate control... you just need to get used to feathering if you want a longer coast.

I've had service twice; once at a service center to replace a faulty latch, and once for winter tire installation. Both were pleasant experiences (friendly staff, nice waiting room, and nominal service time), but I also booked in advance and it was nothing urgent.

The rack does have a Yakima part number on it, but I think it's only sold through the Tesla website. It looks and fits great with imperceptible wind noise. Same for the RockyMounts JetLine bicycle mount.

Look into Yakima's Universal MightyMount adapters. I have not tried them. I was thinking of it for an old bike carrier but decided instead to buy a new one specifically for the t-slots.

I ordered a RockyMounts JetLine yesterday. Hope to install it early this week.
