I completely agree with you that "Markets make prices". No one here is expecting Tesla to take trade in above the market price. CarMax is willing to take my car at 35k and can still make profit from it, but Tesla's offer is more than 10% below the market trade in value.

I got the quote from CarMax today and they offered me at $35K+, the same as what Tesla offered me 2 months ago. I'll call Tesla to see if they can match CarMax's offer.

Same here - my M3 trade in value dropped 4k in two months (same mileage). This is insane.

It's someone in Bellevue WA service center. I called their main number and select #4 for delivery.

I live in WA, and the sales tax for new cars is 10.4%. Without trade in, I have to pay 6k in sales tax. With trade in, it can save me 3k+ in taxes. Huge difference. But now with the 4k drop in trade in quote, I lost my mind what to do... I may just cancel MY order and keep driving M3...
