Wow that's terrible news. There's a revel station not too far from here. Electricity is a little more there but free parking first hour

I mean an EV doesn't cost much more than any car so you don't really have to be "well off". I park on the street every night and I see more and more Teslas to doing the same. As for L2 there are Flo chargers now but they are only in certain areas and way too little of them

This would solve a lot. Problem is Caesars Bay closes the parking lot at night. For this to work we all need 24/7 access

I think it's possible they temporarily block access to non Teslas at least untill this station can get expanded or a new station can open nearby. I'm sure Tesla is aware what a disaster this station has been.

Yea everytime I see it on the map it's always gray with that clock symbol. Last night around 5am it said 25 + min wait. Hopefully this has Teslas attention. But this has got to be one of the busiest superchargers in the country now

I'm not surprised. This is what is happening at JFK. That's why I knew 12 stalls was not enough. And this was definitely the wrong location to open to non Teslas right now

Definitely don't need another one near Atlantic. Brooklyn museum is not too far plus those are in paid garages. Either gateway or Caesars Bay would be ideal imo

Yup I plugged in. Ordered Starbucks on the app picked up on the walk in then went to Raymour to take a piss then charging was done. Sucks this Starbucks isn't 24 hrs anymore
