The service women who helped sounded new. Thanks for the link, i will make sure they know this. Its difficult to see tesla do well in building the technology yet fall so far in customer service and accurate information.

I just called about my tesla S in for battery repair. The service agent at Van Nuys said $1700 plus labor if i decide to upgrade to newer unit. This new unit is discounted if i upgrade instead of warranty repair. Extra if i want satellite and radio.

Just an update for my 7 year 2 month MS. I have about 195000 miles on my S and max range charge is 197. I think I had a max range when I first got the car of 275 ish . It was only a few months ago it was 210. I hope my battery isn't tanking now.

We are actually in the process of potentially getting 3 power walls. I like the idea of having the 4th power wall pre wired. I live in the Antelope Valley (LA county) still waiting for the tesla rep to contact us. Are you off the grid and or sending back surplus back to the grid?

Just curious how many miles you had on your S before it went out? I'm at 190K and 8 years this dec and my full range is 209. It seems not to long before i have mine replaced.
