How long has it been since first mentioned? Seems like a pretty serious miscalculation for an important supercharger link in South Florida.

The tech package was not available at the time of delivery, but the car was outfitted with about 2/3 of what was shortly afterward sold as the "tech Package." I believe the " tech package" has changed a couple of times since release.

I did the same trip from Boca this past June and also just made it. My wife wasn't happy. The hotel that advertised as "EV friendly" had only a 110 outlet although I had been told otherwise. Charged up to 150 miles the two days I was there and stopped at a colorful little motel on the way back...

I stopped in at Mimi's twice over the weekend. Food was very good and reasonable. Service was poor even when I was the only patron and there were about ten wait staff walking around! Fortunately I wasnt in a big hurry since I was charging.

There are also SC charging stations at Fort Drum service plaza on the turnpike which appear almost ready, and SC's at Turkey Lake service plaza which appear ready. The word on another forum was that both would be available by thanksgiving.

I drove by the Fort Drum service plaza on Sunday and saw the Charging stations. They were blocked by road dividers but also looked pretty close to being ready. Turkey Lake looked open but, alas, it wasn't. Ended up charging in Ocala going to and coming from Gainesville. Not the most convenient...
