Left door pillar camera blocked or blinded

We picked our car up Friday and got this alert yesterday. Initially reading this, I assumed it could be bright morning sun, but once we parked we realized there was a bit of moisture inside the camera compartment on the left pillar.

    Trade In Values

Call or chat in on the website. I’ve had laggy things and they were able to expedite a bit.

    Missing USB Ports

This is my fear. If we are missing ports, we will make it work, but let us know. We take delivery on Friday and we only have a heads up of the probability because we read articles and seek out info around here. Thank goodness for built in Nav, so Waze doesn’t kill my older phone battery.

Just got our VIN! Woo! 311*** I see that it’s a 2021 and I’m surprised because all recent VIN posts have been 2022s. Is it weird that this makes me nervous? Also with resale does the model year matter as much with Teslas as that doesn’t indicate changes to the car year to year? I guess with...

    Florida Waiting Room

I don’t know if it’s the NYers in us, but all our cars have been black. We agree it makes the Y look even better and definitely fierce! Despite having several Teslas in our area, we’ve only seen one or two in black, which is a win for us. We hadn’t encountered the covers, thanks for sharing...

    Florida Waiting Room

Anyone who has taken delivery had mud flaps or any PPF? I read tales of some taking delivery with one or both, some colder mountain areas, some Canada. I assumed Floridians wouldn’t see either, but just wanted to check. Thanks!

I looked and it was mid-September, but they do expire after 6 months anyway. I question if we will even get to use them.

From what I’ve read however if you applied the referral code prior to the end of this promotion, the miles should still be granted upon taking delivery. If you ordered in July or earlier (sorry I can’t remember when they discontinued) it may still be worth pursuing to see if you can add...

That’s our exact build! It looks great. Congrats! Also interesting to see the Tampa pickup as that’s where we will grab ours. Hopefully soon, as our window just dropped to a two week window. 😬

Delivery times of Tesla Model-Y (June-July orders)

We are an end of July order. Sat at 11/6-11/26 for a long while and just had a soft pull anticipating Vin around the 7th, but then got pushed out to 11/18-12/16 and Monday arriving didn’t fix that issue. Hoping it’s just some pre- vin shiftiness that I’ve seen others go through. I keep telling...

    Current Delivery Times

We have an od of 7/25 and EDD of 11/6-11/26 that has held steady for about a month or so, plus a soft pull this past Thursday that said car was slated to be built on 11/7 with delivery on 11/22. As of this this morning and getting within a week of our window, we got pushed back to 11/18-11/16. 🤬...

I did see that and immediately thought the price jumped again. Then questioned if that was a previous config I had played with, as I’ve noticed sometimes it hold on to quirky things like that. How interesting!

    Current Delivery Times

Last time we were near Tesla, we popped in to ask some questions and our SA just offered up a soft (no promises or expectations) date. Our range has since shifted forward and has been steady there for a long while, so no stake in the date ever.

I jumped on here as soon as I noticed to see if it was a fluke. Seems like any upgrade gets you bumped to April vs July.

We plan to pull the hub caps off the Geminis and paint them black. Saves us the money up front and maybe helps the range a bit, too.
