Still for sale: 2.5 Roadster w/Jademo (Norway)

Yeah I think it's very affordable price, but still no takers, been on offer for a year and I need the space :) CAC is on the low side, ~134, but I don't trust it since the only trips it has had the last year is potential buyers heading straight for the highway for 20 minutes then parking it...

Hi guys. I still have my 2.5 Roadster listed for sale in Norway, no luck locally (guess it's all about the M3 nowdays) so I will have a look to see if there is any international interest. Brief summary: 2011 2.5 Roadster (regular) ~85000 km (~52800 miles) Original Color: Thunder Gray, fully...

    Strange paint defect

I expect them to be able to help, as in get the issue fixed for payment. And maybe do some of the work on goodwill since they admit that it's a defect from the factory. But at least take the car in and get it looked at. Not just tell me that there is nothing they can do for me. It might, but...

    Strange paint defect

Just to update the thread, here is my newly wraped roadster, with the bubbles removed. No help from Tesla. Total cost NOK29.000 (USD3600), very happy with the result. (Guess I need to update my avatar, hehe )

    Strange paint defect

Yeah I have stopped using Tesla for my roadster all together and canceled my order for a Model 3. I rather drive 8x2 hours to Elbilmek to fix issues, instead of dealing with Tesla. And I know others that have sold their X because they are fed up by Tesla's lack of service. I have a friend who...

    Strange paint defect

My problems has gotten worse during winter storage. I have an appointment with a body shop where they will sand this down, but instead of repaint I will do a full wrap of the car. A bit cheaper and I get "a new car". The shop has done this with another roadster before and they claim good result...

    Windows seals

Hi guys Has anyone replaced the Window seals: I guess this is a Tesla part, anyone have the part number and suggestions where to get them? (Our local Tesla shop don't want to touch the roadster)

    Strange paint defect

And it has now happened to the other side of the car as well, and this time there is no help from Tesla.

    another regen/brake light discussion

In Norway it is not permitted for the Roadster as well. The reason is that when the car was first approved for roads in EU the law stated that the brake light was to turn on when the brake pedal was physically pushed. This law has been changed in recent years, but does not apply to older cars...

Manual battery cooldown mod - a cure for the Roadsters insomnia

Thanks for this, I will defeinitly be doing this to keep jdemo charging temperature down. But how about doing this with a relay and let OVMS control it? I would guess that there is some spare IO to use? Anyone know?

They are asking $4300 for the working PEM (pulled from crashed 2011 Roadster at 54.000 km). What to you guys think about that price?

    Parts to aquire...

Hi everyone. There is a roadster for sale in parts (battery is all ready sold). I am grabbing the headlights, since mine have started to peel and I am thinking of grabing the PEM as well if the price is right. Is there any other spare parts that might be a good investment...

ABS & Traction Control Problems. Service Required ID: 1103

Interresting. I have had others mentioning low voltage as a problem. Anyhow, Tesla made a statement that the ABS was ok, and the car passed inspection.
