Steam from under Model 3 during supercharging

I had steam (or at the time I thought smoke!) coming from the front of my new M3 when charging at a Supercharger and got really worried. Glad to know this is normal. From the Manual, NOTE: The thermal system may produce steam under certain conditions for vehicles with heat pumps (to determine...

Ordering a Tesla: my first in 2009 vs. my fifth in 2018

Haha! What a great, long-time thread. Congrats! I’d love to hear more about you R1S experience too if you have another link to that.

Tesla switches to high-pressure sales tactics?

Your experience is interesting to me and very different from mine. I’m new to Tesla and took my first test drive just a few weeks ago. Good to know. Thanks for sharing! Tesla Info is showing just over a thousand cars now so it did go back up from when I posted earlier.

I would guess the current M3 production line is already shutdown as the numbers of cars continues to decrease as shown on Tesla-Info.com. It’s showing under 1,000 Model 3 cars in the US now.

Thanks, Alex. This might be the way I go too but not sure yet. I’m going to have the electrician quote for this and also a TWC install. I’ve been reading up on the pros and cons of different home charging solutions.
