Thank you for all your input. I went in the end for the ALA quote as it was one of the better ones. So I spoke to them and o cover up to £30k and shortfall between finance and insurance but also any out outstanding monthly rentals. So I thought that was quite good and what I needed.

Thanks! well my one is a lease so i have only been given this option "Contract Hire Plus GAP" so maybe this is the difference? I was a bit surprised of the quote too. What is the max £? mine is £30k.

I had similar quotes, LV even quoted 2k for a 6month cover. Cheapest was in the end 1.2k with admiral. Is that London pricing? 🥺

I went with admiral to but did everything on the phone so could pay for it and insurance will kick in on the 3rd when the car gets delivered.

My info here. ordered a MY w/b 19” at the end of April through Zen Autos and I have a delivery date of 3rd Sep. Was notified of this 27th July and got Vin and number plate details on the 11th Aug. Vin starts with 405.

Interesting that LV was the cheapest for you. We are currently with them and called up to add the Tesla and they quoted us 2k+ for 6months policy. We went with Admiral and they were quite decent. They also offer free recovery in case you ran out of charge. Sorry not much help with the Tracker...
