    Sold my '19 model 3

I haven't driven a new Leaf, but offhand I'd say the 2020 Leaf is much improved, with greater range and nicer styling. It seems to get some positive reviews. If you've ever literally interacted with an actual POS, I'd say your comment is a bit exaggerated.

WTB Model 3 Euro tail lights

That's "brakes". Breaks are when something is broken. Please fix and I'll delete this.

After FSD 3.0, Summon accident!!! Crashed my bumper and hood

That's not what happened. The OP was not a native English speaker and meant to say "stunned".

    Full self driving capability

    How can you be sure?

25 minute hold for emergency roadside service

I have kind of a naive newbie question here, but is it really true that Tesla Model 3 cars do not come with run-flat tires, do not include a spare tire, do not include a tire repair kit, and rely on Tesla roadside assistance in the event of a flat tire? That sounds like a deadly combination, and...

Can Someone Explain To Me Why The LR RWD Is Going Away?

I've long had this theory that Tesla might eventually start manufacturing a less expensive Model 3 version (call it the SR-) in China, and then import that model into the U.S. The base version would lack the glass roof, heated seats, and other amenities, and perhaps have 17" wheels and tires, a...

How Can I Politely Decline Speaking To Strangers About My Car?

Louisiana is lovely but you may just have to move to L.A. or San Francisco -- there are three Teslas on every block. Or just be patient, as Tesla continues to sell more vehicles in your state.

    Express Lanes and FasTrak

You guys are asking the wrong question! I'd like to see FasTrak support integrated into the Tesla electronics. Imagine being able to check your account balance on the screen, and see a payment confirmation message on the screen whenever you drive through a toll area. Plus it would be great to...

My experience at the Jaguar and Audi Dealerships today for their EVs

My sense is that Jaguar is currently attempting to limit the number of iPace BEVs sold, due to a limited supply but also due to limited profit. Unless you make it abundantly clear to the salesperson that you really, really, want an iPace and nothing else, they're probably going to steer you...

People are crazy not to buy Tesla cars!

Some of the calculations that show a Model 3 to be less costly to operate at 20K miles per year than a mainstream ICE vehicle include cost of energy consumed and also take into account projected depreciation. Operating cost does not just include maintenance; in fact, maintenance is often the...

    The Real Use for Auto-Pilot

Despite your opinion of other drivers, Tesla's autopilot nonetheless leaves quite a significant distance between your car and the vehicle in front of you, I would assume for safety. My experience is that, in heavy traffic, my Tesla can nearly stay put while cars on both sides of me cut in front...

    The Real Use for Auto-Pilot

I wanted to add that you only have to really tap the brake pedal slightly, not necessarily enough to significantly slow down the car. So experiment with the brake pedal, and become familiar with the "feel".

Planning to only use 110 outlet

I don't know where you got the idea that charging at 110V would cause damage. Does it say so in the User Manual? Did a friend tell you that? 110V is still the default home charging voltage for nearly all EVs, and 110V isn't a "trickle", it's legitimate charging, albeit slowly. Many more people...

    Dog Mode Improvement Needed

I might be wrong here, but it's very possible that, for safety (emergency) and perhaps cost management reasons, our cars are not wired or engineered in a manner such that the central computer can disable the window buttons. That would mean that your feature enhancement request cannot be...

Model S Refresh coming in September. What about X

The refreshed Model X will not simply be a slightly larger Model Y. I believe there will always be a strong, albeit smaller, market for the Model X. Why? Because the Model X will always be significantly larger, with a more luxurious interior and a significantly smoother and quieter ride.
