    Wipers via scroll wheel is not new. Been there a while. What I think is new is that multiple presses of the wiper button on the stalk will changer wiper frequency. Though I do not yet actually have the update.

    Brakes alone are capable of locking up the wheels. You do not need regen for maximum braking in an emergency. Max braking occurs just before the wheels lock up. Which is what ABS, Anti-lock Braking System, is for. It gives you maximum braking for the given tyres and road surface.

    Have you tried a two button reset? This should restart the on board computer and it cellular modem which may have 'crashed'.
