I don't get the enthusiasm in the market. For FSD to work in China Tesla needs lots of Chinese driving data. They are not allowed to export the data to the US for analysis and processsing, and they are not allowed to export to China the AI-hardware to process the data. Those issues need to be...

Unless the level of this thread moves away from people calling other people (also members of this forum) fanboys, lemmings, clowns and suckers, it will be locked down. I don’t know why all the anger is necessary in the first place, but it certainly shouldn’t be directed at other members.

The FUD was about Autopilot crashes from years ago, plus the recall. It had a direct effect on the stock price yesterday. That is very relevant. FSD is a different subject and after the big V12 improvement a few weeks ago its iterations do not (yet) noticeably influence the stock price.

This is what I could find, but the number isn't split out for FSD and other items: Revenue recognized from the deferred revenue balances as of December 31, 2023 and 2022 was $281 million and $134 million for the three months ended March 31, 2024 and 2023, respectively.

You can BTC them now for less premium than you received, it I remember correctly. But then all the hyperventilating and the sleepless night was for nothing. It does give you peace of mind and you live to fight another day.
