    SR Purchasing Doubts

The price point of the SR is what brought me to the Tesla table when I needed to replace my ICE vehicle that I had driven into the ground. But as I considered weather the AWD and long range benefits convinced my frugal side to spend a little more money. For the OP it sounds like range is not an...

Advice for Autopilot and hand fatigue

I rest my hands as I would normally do steering and simply add a little tug on the wheel left or right to add resistance instead of a squeeze. Not enough to knock it out of AP but enough to confirm hands are on the wheel. I tried the “squeeze” method but found it required a lot more effort than...

    Visualization not working

I had this same issue, then my son showed me how to turn it on in settings. When I was young I showed my dad how to program the clock on the VCR....my son has it a lot harder then I did growing up:)

Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

I have a 2020 M3 stealth that I picked up a few weeks ago. My 90% was 279 miles pre update checking today after update I now show 90% at 267 miles. Car is in the garage where temperature has remained consistent around 51 degrees so this could be a change in software calculations on the new...

    Your Cars Name?

Lost the family dog a month before we got the M3....his nick name was Mr. Chips so the boys named the car “Mr.Chips!” in remembrance. Kind of fitting as he never really came when called, and ironically his soul appears to live on in the car when we try auto summon:) Just like the dog the command...

Tesla wall connector - opinions on which mounting option

IMO the wall connector handles the longer cord just fine and the only reason to add the increased depth and projection of the top mount bracket is solely for the wiring access. If you can have the wiring enter the connector from the rear or bottom then there is no need for the top mount bracket...

Realistic wait times for home charging adapters?

Ordered my Silver wall connector 12/7 shipped on 12/17. Response time was quick when I emailed for an update - referenced the order number via email received reply with tracking # in 20 minutes so good response time here:) Picked up my model 3 yesterday with only ½ charge which was tricky as...

State taxes in WA for Model 3

Very good point on the range, being new to the car I hadn’t considered the margins for charging and temperature-I’ll stick with the LR appreciate the perspective very helpful! State taxes in WA for Model 3

I ordered a LR AWD last week but thinking about downgrading to an LR+ and stripping the add ons like FSF to get under the $45k limit for the sales tax exemption. Am I understanding this WA exemption that you get to deduct $2,500 in sales tax if the EV is under $45k new? Hate to give up the LR...
