Has anyone fitted 255/45/R20 tires on 20 inch wheels?

No rubbing issues after almost a week of driving. Fill out the wheel arches better, and the ride is way smoother. There is less than a finger of clearance between the tire and front upper control arm, but they move together so it should not rub. Speedometer is underreporting, slightly. I am...

Has anyone fitted 255/45/R20 tires on 20 inch wheels?

I am considering buying winter rubber in 255/45/R20. Has anyone done this? Any issues other than ~3% speedometer inaccuracy? No rubbing? 255/40/R20 is stock size But the 45 aspect ratio tires are more common and considerably cheaper. The extra 12mm of sidewall height should help with ride...

Has anyone used a Tire of a different size on their Tesla Model Y

That is 15% more sidewall height and 4% more width, I am wondering if it'll rub on full steering lock. https://tiresize.com/calculator/ The wider tires are probably not helping with rolling resistance

Thanks guys. My Sept 25 delivery also didn’t have mud flaps, but neither did any other Ys at the showroom. Mud flaps are not standard equipment? However, I can confirm matrix lights, new door cards, but no cargo cover.

Electrician recommendation in York Region, want a Nema 14-50 in the garage

Hello guys, Has anyone had a great experience recently with a home charger (or 14-50 plug) installation in York Region or GTA? I want a 14-50 outlet installed in my garage for use with MC, and eventually add a 14-50 based home charger later on. I’d prefer not to overpay a large franchised...

    Canada Waiting Room

Took delivery on Sunday. Almost 10 full months of waiting for a highly spec’d car. So many mixed feelings. They definitely want you to accept the car and be on your way out the door as soon as possible. I was there from 1pm to 4 pointing out things that were wrong. They forgot to install ppf...

Hey guys, I've never purchased a brand new car before. Do you think this optional Limited Waiver of Depreciation coverage is worth it for Model Y? Insurance is trying to upsell this for ~$10/month extra. My understanding is that it gives the owner the full purchase price instead of replacement...

Good luck Joey_82, keep us posted. Well, looks like I'm going to have a end of Q3 rush delivery after all! I got a VIN in the source code a week ago with a EDD Oct 1-7, and today I got an email voucher for a charging, and a text that car is on the way. If all goes to plan, my Red LR pick up...

Tesla Wall Connector: Hard wiring Vs NEMA 14-50

Seems a bit sketchy to attach WC to a 14-50, since it wasn't made for it. https://www.evchargerreviews.net/best-home-charger-tesla-model-y/ There are heaps of good 14-50 plug boxes out there. So I've got a grizzl-e on the way now because it seems like I'm not getting a mobile connector on...

    Canada Waiting Room

My December 2021 order just got pushed back to October 1-7, but at least it’s a narrower window and it’s not a quarter end rush delivery now. My LR config is more expensive than a base MYP, I’m so annoyed with the months of delays.

Nice! They can confirm this when you get a vin? Or you just took delivery?

After waiting since December 3 last year, the edd dates finally up moved closer. Getting excited again after having the dates pushed back multiple times.
