AL Priority & Net Radar Laser Install on Plaid or LR?

@cmarshack how reliable is the Bluetooth connection and use of the app on your phone? I am getting ready to install the ALP in my wife’s Rivian and not sure how easy it will be to enter the cabin area from the Frunk space (always the hardest part) considered the Connect Module but heard it is...

Has anyone installed a radar detector in a updated 2021 model S?

I did my own install and was able to route the wires for the heads from the lower intake to the frunk area. There is a small access hole on the passenger side of the intake area if I remember correctly. I think it had a small cover on it that is removable.. Getting through the firewall to the...

AL Priority & Net Radar Laser Install on Plaid or LR?

You can put the regular heads on the lower intake area and then put the TX up higher. I am just running the two regular heads in the lower area and have had no issues. Of course adding a TX would be better.

2021+ Model S and Model S Plaid Refresh Issues Thread

There is also a setting for narrow garages (don't recall the exact name) but it keeps your mirrors folded until you are away from your garage.. long shot, but that may be on.

    FSD Beta v11.x

I agree with the comments about the city streets still needing a lot of work… however, I am very happy with the Hwy FSDb behavior over my 350 mile trip this week… no issues, limited lane changes (on default w/o activating MLC). NOA used to change lines like it got paid extra for each change…...

Wiki MASTER THREAD: Actual FSD Beta downloads and experiences

Used FSDb 11.3.6 on a round trip from Seattle to Vancouver BC this week and was very impressed with how it worked on the freeway. Overall drove very well and did not change lanes every two min like NOA did in the past. It also handled speed limit changes well (limit from from 60 to 70 and back...

    FSD Beta v11.x

I am now on 11.3.6 and FSDb continues to put me in the wrong lane (as with previous version). When heading NW on lakeland hills, the plan is to turn Left on 69th. And instead of waiting for the correct left turn lane it always puts me in the opposing turn lane (oncoming). That lane has a hard...

Do you have (or can you borrow) another Tesla J1772 adapter to see if that is bad?

Vendor 【V2 Mud Flaps For Refreshed Model S Arrived】If you purchased V1 and would like a V2 rear mud flaps replacement, PM us!

Yikes, that must have been a deep pot hole. I have had couple scraps on odd shaped speed bumps, but they powered through just fine.

Kansas - Proposal to Double Tax EVs

No difference to filling up (and paying gas tax) and then driving to another state and using 50% of your tank. They are not refunding the tax or charging you less.

    Refreshed MS LR/Plaid Firmware status

Would rather get the updated headlights instead of a screen that tilts a few inches.
