I was super impressed by the car knowing how much to charge at each station. The car was fully loaded with supplies, had a Thule on the roof, and temperatures dipped to -25C. Most days I needed 60 to 80% more range in the car than the actual distance covered and the car took that into...
Stayed in Canada the whole way. It had been thirty years since I drove west and wanted to do it in reverse before the stalls got too busy with non-Tesla's. Only saw two Ford F-150's charging along the way.
Good news. This is the first site headed to construction that was part of the NRCan funding grants list announcement from March 23rd. Let's hope more construction starts are in the immediate pipeline.
6 pages of updates and 667 days of waiting for construction to begin. Looks like the city of Osoyoos has decided it is best to strand Tesla owners overnight than allowing them to charge and move on.
At Tsawwassen Mills Charging station and there are currently 23 cars for the 12 chargers, some waiting some have just finished.
When I got mine 6 years ago it was an event to meet another owner.
Went to Calgary last summer. Also, this year returned to Calgary, Drumheller and Dinosaur Provincial Park. Yes, we were worried, but the great folks of Alberta did not vandalize the car. No photos of the plate that I could see. :)
I have gone past 100 instances of looking in my rear view mirror to see the driver behind me taking a photo of my car/plate. In B.C. now they are risking a $500 fine for having the cell phone in their hand and yet they still need to take the photo. (3 1/2 years of ownership).
I drove the Vancouver to Drumheller and Dinosaur Provincial Park route this summer. The good folks at Chinook Mall were kind enough to allow me to charge as I headed both east and west. A supercharger in Calgary would certainly make the trip easier.
Put the winter tire package on the car two weeks ago, here in Vancouver. Now I am just waiting for winter to come.
On a side note, I was quite impressed that the Tesla App and the car dash now show the new Aero Wheels I bought with the winter tires.
