Yup, I went with leasing it since it’s used for my business and not my personal car (hence the low mileage too), otherwise I would’ve financed as a personal car. I also didn’t put much down which is why I have $0 down here as well, and a higher payment. Part of me did want to finance though but...

Know that pain unfortunately. I've noticed many public chargers around my area (not many to begin with) charging around that amount Thankfully not too big of a detriment for me, and still cheaper than gas was. But it does still sting 🙃

At least for malls near me it seems like a nice little incentive for customers, and it could help draw in customers that would otherwise go somewhere else which would make up for the costs. For me at least there's some places I'll go that are equidistant to me, and I'll choose one over another...

I did this at first due to range anxiety, but it was just that - range anxiety. I only increased it minimally (85-90% instead of my normal 80%), but I ended up not really needing the extra range. Didn't hurt to at least try it out for a bit :)

Unfortunate to hear that, my condolences. But like others in this thread mentioned, insurance will help a ton here. Plus with how Tesla is incentivizing/quickly filling orders right now, you can make the best of a bad situation and get another new one with some goodies ;)

Seems natural to see people think about the "what ifs" when it comes to large purchases like this. As long as you love the car, that regret will pass! I've even felt the same way with smaller things that I've needed such as laptops, but the feeling always passes :)
